NEXT WEEK IS THE LAST FULL WEEK!!

Bible: Late/back work is due by Wednesday, June 6th. Community Service is also due on that day! We have only one more chapel together so that means one more reflection paper!

9/10: Continued work on Mulit-Genre project. These are due Tuesday, June 5th. Presentations are Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

11/12: For those taking the regents: practice regents needs to be done by Monday.

              For career portfolio group: Those are due Tuesday, June 12th.

              For seniors: Senior Exit portfolios are due on Monday. I will review them on Monday for any last minutes        

                                       changes to be done Tuesday. They need to be perfected by Wednesday. Presentations in front of a

                                        panel of judges will be on Thursday and Friday at 9:20. I will let you know what day you will be going

                                        on Tuesday.

7/8: We read the short story, “The Parsley Garden” and worked on discussion questions. Questions need to be hand written on a separate sheet of paper. Finish for homework.

French: Finish workbook pages and remember to study the three verbs. We have chapter 12 to tackle next week and a final on Tuesday.

Bible: Today we had a memory verse quiz on Ephesians 4:29 per request of James Smith and Chapel on Wednesday of last week. Tomorrow we will be working on chapel reflections and praying together. Community Service due on Wednesday, June 6th. No exceptions.

9/10: Continued work on Multi-Genre Projects. Book reports were due yesterday. Some of you have not handed this in yet!

11/12: Continued work on regents prep or career portfolios. To the seniors- reminder that the senior exit portfolios are due Monday!

7/8: We will be starting a short story titled, “The Parsley Garden” followed by some multiple choice questions.

French: Finishing up Ch. 11 this week and starting chapter 12 next week.

Bible: We just finished our unit on What Would Jesus Do and will begin a new one next week.

9/10: Students finished working with adverbs and will be a multi genre project this week.

11/12: Students who have passed the NYS English regents with a 90 or better will be working on a Career Portfolio. The rest of the class will begin regents prep and continue for a couple of weeks. Seniors are leaving in a couple of days for the senior trip!

7/8: Students will be analyzing a poem called “Moco Limping.” We will be working on group work as well as multiple choice questions.

French: We will be working on our vacation presentations! Make sure you have those translated!

Bible: The class have started looking at Jesus & enemies and today worked on the parable of the good Samaritan.

7-12: All classes had a WOD Unit 8 Exam today. Any late Creative Stories are now up to 60 points off, Monday will be 75 points off. 9 people have not handed these in yet!! Your names are on the board and you know who you are!

French: We just finished Chapter 10 and will be starting Chapter 11 today!

NEXT WEEK REMINDERS:

Race for Education is WEDNESDAY, 5/16. We will still have Chapel on that day.

Bible: Finish Chapel Reflections if you have not already handed them in.

9/10: Tomorrow will be the last day to finish the essay. If you have already finished you need to be prepared to work on your project in class tomorrow. Start studying for exam on Monday!

11/12: Finish reading to page 130.

7/8: More IOWA testing, 7th keep working on adverbs packet!

French: BIG TEST Wednesday! Start studying now! Ch. 10 vocabulary!

9/10: We finished the book! The class is to finish the Act 4 and 5 questions in the packet. Tomorrow and Friday will be dedicated to an in class essay, followed by an exam on Monday.

11/12: Complete the last packet for Part 2 (91-end). We will discuss all of part 2 and questions tomorrow and begin Part 3.

*Seniors- I need your authorization forms back a.s.a.p. :-)

7/8: 7th graders will continue working on Adverb packets while the 8th graders continue with the IOWA State testing!

French: Troisieme etape in Chapter 10. Vocabulary day. Chapter 10 vocabulary test on Wednesday of next week!

REMINDERS: Get all report cards in because it’s a zero in the grade book if not! Bring back spring picture forms if interested and any attendance sheets handed out on Tuesday!

Bible: Memory verse for the week: Chose either Proverbs 12;26 or Proverbs 13:20. Chapel will be tomorrow, don’t forget to take notes.

*ALL ENGLISH CLASSES: Creative Story Unit 8 is due on Monday, 5/7!!!!!! ((Word count: 2,000, and for the rest, you are free to do as you wish. Make sure that you have all the parts to a character and a setting as well as plot structure and POV!))

9/10: Projects are due 5/15. Tomorrow we will finished Romeo & Juliet. Be prepared for an in class essay this week as well as an EXAM on Monday.

11/12: Finish reading Part 2, to page 110. Discussion and questions will be held tomorrow before we begin part 3.

7/8: IOWA STATE TESTING all this week. 7th graders will be working on grammar packets.
